Chien Huang

Chien Huang has a strong background in finance and business transformation. Chien currently holds the position of VP of Finance at Titan Medical Inc. since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as VP of Business Transformation at Quarterhill Inc. from May 2018 to April 2021. Chien also served as Director of Finance & IT at Astellas Pharma Canada for a period of ten years from September 2008 to May 2018. Earlier in their career, they held multiple roles at Draxis Health Inc., including Vice President of Finance from July 2003 to May 2008 and Director of Corporate Finance/Controller from September 1998 to July 2003. During their time at Draxis Health, Chien successfully led a team in achieving Sarbanes Oxley compliance and played an integral role in financial negotiations and reporting changes.

Chien Huang's education history includes a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University, which was achieved from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they pursued the Chartered Accountant Designation in 1991 through the Uniform Final Exam, completing their articled at Ernst & Young in Montreal from 1990 to 1993. Prior to this, Chien Huang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Toronto, which they achieved between 1982 and 1986.
