James Lerud

James Lerud has a diverse background in cybersecurity and information security management, holding various key positions over the years. Currently serving as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Pentester, and Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Titania Solutions Group, Inc. since March 2019, James previously managed threat research at Verodin Inc. from October 2016 to December 2018. James's experience includes leading cybersecurity engineering efforts at MITRE, overseeing security operations at the Executive Office of the President, and serving as a Countermeasures Team Lead at General Dynamics Information Technology. Additionally, James worked as a Cyber Countermeasures Developer for the US Navy and managed operations at the National Security Agency as the Attack Sensing and Warning Section Manager. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Western Governors University, James's expertise encompasses risk assessment, system security processes, and incident response.
