Ashok Banerjee

Ashok Banerjee serves as the CTO and SVP of R&D at Trellix since September 2022. Prior to this role, Ashok was the VP of VMware Platform Services at VMware, focusing on multi-cloud components across various domains. Ashok's extensive experience also includes roles as VP and CTO for both Enterprise and Consumer Security Products at Symantec, where Ashok developed a SaaS portfolio and a digital experience platform. Other notable positions include VP of Supply Chain Platform at Flipkart, Sr. Engineering Manager at Twitter, and senior roles at Google involving data warehousing and billing systems. Ashok has an academic background as a lecturer at San Jose State University and holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
