Izak Mutlu

Izak Mutlu is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in information security and business development. As Co-Founder and Board Member of the Bay Area CSO Council since March 2004, Izak fosters collaboration among CISOs from leading San Francisco Bay Area companies. Previously, Izak served as Vice President of Information Security (CISO) at Salesforce.com from 2006 to 2016, overseeing cloud computing security operations. Other notable roles include Chief Information Security Officer at Silicon Graphics, Inc. and Solectron Corp, where strategic IT security initiatives were developed and implemented. Izak's earlier career includes roles such as Business Development Executive at EDS Corporation, where significant contract revenue was generated, and Network Projects & Engineering Manager at Amdahl Corporation, where complex network projects were executed. Izak holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
