Robert Yi

Robert Yi is a seasoned technology leader and data scientist, currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO of Titanium Labs since August 2024. Prior to this role, Robert co-founded Hyperquery, a next-generation data notebook acquired by Deepnote in 2024, where Robert also held the position of CTO from 2020 to July 2024. Previous experience includes a role as Data Scientist at Airbnb from 2019 to 2020, focusing on uplift models and product analytics, and as Machine Learning Technical Lead at Wayfair from 2017 to 2019, where Robert developed uplift models for ad auction bidding and contributed to the open-source project pylift. Robert holds a PhD in Geophysics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2017, and an A.B. in Physics from Harvard University, earned in 2010.
