Michael Bui

Michael Bui has a diverse work experience in various roles. Michael started their career at GPI US, Inc. as a Program Coordinator, where they collaborated with teams to create engaging lesson plans for English learners and managed the participation of students. Later, they worked as an Artistic Director at Creative Labs UCLA, where they composed an original soundtrack for a game and led a virtual tutorial on sound design. Michael also served as a Project Coordinator at SLAM UCLA, developing virtual lesson plans for underrepresented middle school musicians.

Michael gained further experience as a Fitwell Consultant and a Bruin Health Ambassador Program member at UCLA Recreation, where they provided personal protective equipment and educated the community on COVID-19 safety. Michael also worked as a Client Relations Specialist at Capital Group, where they focused on client relations.

In terms of design roles, Michael was a UX Designer at LATechSpace, where they gained experience in user experience design. Michael also worked as a User Experience Designer at Foodja, where they contributed to the design of the user interface. Additionally, they served as a UX Designer at Develop for Good, working on various projects such as rebranding, designing client pages, and collaborating with a development team on a mobile app for educational equality.

Most recently, Michael joined Tixr as part of the Business Operations team. Overall, Michael's work experience showcases their versatility and skills in program coordination, design, and customer relations.

Michael Bui attended UCLA from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in Machine Learning Specialization from Coursera in December 2022 and in Google UX Design Specialization from Coursera in September 2022.
