Mark Doty

Mark Doty is a seasoned planning professional with significant experience in historic preservation and urban planning. Currently serving as a Senior Planner at TJKM Transportation Consultants since September 2021, Mark has previously held key roles such as Assistant Director of Planning at the City of McKinney and Chief Historic Preservation Officer at the City of Dallas. In Dallas, Mark managed a team of historic preservation planners and a substantial departmental budget, overseeing various preservation initiatives. Mark's earlier roles include Senior Historic Preservation Planner and Architectural Intern, with a strong focus on historic tax exemption programs and community grants. An alumnus of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Mark combines architectural expertise with a robust track record in preservation-related administration.
