Christopher Johnson

Christopher Johnson, MS, CHST has extensive work experience in the field of safety, health, and environmental management. Christopher is currently working as the Senior Director Safety Health Environmental at TK Elevator since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director EHS at KONE Americas from 2014 to 2023. At Carrier Corporation, they held the role of Regional EH&S Director Carrier Commercial Services from 2011 to 2014. Before that, they worked as the Division Safety Manager at Robins & Morton from 2008 to 2011. Christopher also worked as a Safety Manager at Clark Construction Group, LLC from 2002 to 2008. Christopher began their career as a PEACE OFFICER at LA County from 1992 to 2002.

Christopher Johnson, MS, CHST has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Environmental Studies from Columbia Southern University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from Columbia Southern University, completing it from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications throughout the years, including ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from KONE in 2022, COVID19 Train the Trainer from Columbia Southern University in 2020, and Six Sigma Green Belt from the Council for Six Sigma Cert in 2017, among others.
