Pontus Pettersson is a Swedish businessman who currently serves as the Supervisory Director at TK Elevator. Pontus has previously held positions at Envirotainer, Tractel, CeramTec, Cinven, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., and Altor Equity Partners.
Pettersson began their career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs and Citi. Pontus then joined Altor Equity Partners as an associate in 2003. While at Altor, they were involved in the acquisitions of ACO Hud, Lindorff, Kundinkasso, and Ferrosan. In 2007, they joined Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. as a principal. During their time at KKR, they were involved in the acquisition of Northgate Information Solutions and an investment in Kodak. Pontus left KKR in 2011 to join TK Elevator GmbH as a Supervisory Director.
Pontus Pettersson has a MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in the field of Business Administration. Pontus also has a BA from University of Oxford in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Lastly, they have an International Baccalaureate from Lester B. Pearson College.
