Andrew McComas

Chief Aerodynamicist / Engineering Manager at TLG Aerospace

Andrew McComas has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Andrew began their career at Toyota Aviation Business Development Office as a Flight Test Engineer from 2002 to 2003. Andrew then joined the University of Washington Aeronautical Laboratory as a Crew Chief, where they supported numerous wind tunnel tests and managed a team from 1999 to 2004. After that, they worked at Analytical Methods, Inc. as the Flight Sciences Lead and Airframe Lead, responsible for airplane design programs and developing preliminary design software from 2004 to 2012. Currently, they are working at TLG Aerospace, LLC, first as a Lead Engineer from 2012 to 2013, then as an Engineering Manager from 2013 to the present, and finally as the Chief Aerodynamicist and Engineering Manager from 2019 onwards.

Andrew McComas received their Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington, where they attended from 1999 to 2003.
