Nicola Mead-Batten

Nicola Mead-Batten is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial regulatory and public law. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of Commercial Regulatory at TLT LLP since December 2022, Nicola also contributes as an Advisory Board Member at nisien.ai and has been a Board Member of Sport Wales since September 2019, having been appointed by the Welsh Government. Previously, Nicola held the position of Partner at Capital Law Ltd from June 2015 to December 2022, leading the Public Law and Regulatory practice. The early career began at Baker & McKenzie, where Nicola spent nine years focusing on various commercial disputes, public law, and regulatory matters for notable clients, including the BBC Trust and the Professional Standards Authority for Health & Social Care. Nicola holds a BA in Law & Sociology from the University of Warwick and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School.
