Richard Hughes

Richard Hughes is a seasoned legal professional with 35 years of experience in City law, currently serving as a Partner at TLT LLP since January 2020, specializing in banking, capital markets, and real estate finance. In addition to his role at TLT, Richard acts as a Strategic and Legal Adviser for the National Army Museum and serves on the Executive Committee of The Western Front Association as a Trustee and Legal Adviser. His previous positions include Partner roles at prominent law firms including Norton Rose Fulbright, Simmons & Simmons, Berwin Leighton Paisner, Sidley Austin LLP, Linklaters, and Herbert Smith Freehills, where Richard contributed significantly to various high-profile financial transactions and structured finance developments. Richard holds a Jurisprudence MA from the University of Oxford and a Master of Arts in Modern History from the University of Birmingham.
