Leo Nieuwenhuizen

Leo Nieuwenhuizen is an accomplished technical manager with extensive experience in project management and design within the civil engineering sector. Currently serving as the Technisch manager ontwerp at TM ROCO since October 2021, Leo Nieuwenhuizen plays a key role in the realization of the Rechteroever project for the Oosterweelverbinding, focusing on the construction of canal tunnels. Previously, Leo Nieuwenhuizen held the position of Senior projectmanager ontwerp at BESIX and served as Integraal technisch manager at Sas van Vreeswijk, overseeing significant infrastructure projects such as the Beatrixsluizen. With a foundation as Senior ontwerpmanager at Heijmans and extensive design management experience at Strukton Civiel and Avenue2, Leo Nieuwenhuizen has contributed to major projects including the RandstadRail and various underground parking structures. Educational qualifications include a degree from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, with earlier studies at Comenius.
