Deena Albin

Deena Albin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Deena'smost recent position is with MakeMyMove as a Community Engagement professional, which they began in January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Babinec Marketing + Consulting starting in October 2022.

From 2015 to 2022, Deena worked for AJAA (Avon Junior Athletic Association) as the Director of Operations. During their time there, they served as the Interim Executive Director for eight months in 2020-2021 and an additional three months in 2016. Deena provided leadership during the pandemic, oversaw and processed sports program registrations, and implemented and trained staff on new registration software.

Before joining AJAA, Deena was the Sales & Events Manager at Skate America from November 2014 to June 2015. From March 2013 to November 2014, they worked at Nicholson Orthodontics as a Patient Relations/Marketing professional. Prior to that, Deena served as an Area Manager at ImmediaDent from 2012 to 2013, where they ensured the financial success of multiple dental practices.

From 2011 to 2012, Deena worked as a Client Relationship Manager at ExactTarget, a global provider of on-demand email marketing solutions. Before that, they were employed by Angie's List for several roles, including Senior Account Manager and Member Sales Representative. During their tenure, they managed a diverse team, mentored and developed team members, and consistently delivered excellent customer service.

Deena's earlier work experience includes a role as Assistant Store Manager at Bath & Body Works in 2001-2002. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in community engagement, strategic partnerships, operations management, sales, marketing, and team leadership throughout their career.

Deena Albin attended Vincennes University from 1990 to 1992, where they pursued a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. Following this, in 1993, they enrolled at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where they studied Business, with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
