Michael Vanecek

Michael Vanecek serves as the CFO and CIO of TMC Financing since July 2015, where the organization provides financing to small businesses in California and Nevada, and is recognized as one of the top five Certified Development Companies in the U.S. Additionally, Vanecek holds the same titles at TMC Community Capital, a nonprofit microlender focused on supporting under-served business owners, particularly women. As the owner and business advisor at GrowWise since 2008, Vanecek delivers bookkeeping and advisory services aimed at enhancing business profitability and cash flow. Previous roles include advisory positions at hopps and Xero, as well as significant finance leadership roles at Kontera, Nortom Corporation, and Treasury Wine Estates. Vanecek's educational background includes degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Saint Mary's College of California and the University of Oregon.
