Jim Gabbard

Jim Gabbard is a highly qualified technical leader with extensive experience in the marine, industrial, equipment reliability, and maintenance/support industries. Currently serving as Chief Specialist for Automated Crane Systems at TMEIC since March 2015, Jim previously held the position of Manager of Maintenance Operations at APM Terminals from September 2007 to January 2015. Earlier in the career, Jim led a team at Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) in the Crane Department, focused on maintenance and repairs of crane equipment and developing Best Practices. Jim's professional journey began in the US Navy as a Deep Sea Diver from 1980 to 1994. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from Grantham University, completed between 2003 and 2006, and received a diploma in General Education from Granite Hills High School, graduated in 1979.
