John Brigante

John Brigante has a diverse range of work experience in engineering-related roles. John started their career as an Intern at the Military Sealift Command in 2016. Following that, they worked as a Cadet First Assistant Engineer at Maine Maritime Academy for a brief period from March 2017 to October 2017. In 2018, they participated in a Project Engineer Internship at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). From September 2018 to May 2019, they served as an Adjunct Professor and Academic Tutor at Maine Maritime Academy. John then joined Signet Maritime Corporation in May 2019 as an Assistant Engineer, where they worked until June 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Junior Engineer at TMMG, Inc., starting from July 2021.

John Brigante earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Systems Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications. In November 2019, they received the Engineer In Training certification from the Maryland Board of Professional Engineers. In May 2018, they obtained the Merchant Mariner Credential from the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Most recently, in September 2021, they completed Level 1 Thermography certification from the Infraspection Institute.
