VP - Digital Media at TMRW Sports

Jon Kropp has extensive experience in media and strategy, with a focus on digital media and sports. Jon is currently serving as the VP of Digital Media at TMRW Sports, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Media and Strategy Advisor at their own company, J Kropp Media & Strategy, from 2020 to 2022.

From 2015 to 2020, Jon held the position of Vice President of Strategy & Digital Partnerships at NBC Sports Group, where their responsibilities included developing business, content, social media, and partnership strategies for Golf Channel digital properties. Jon also led collaborations with various teams to drive revenue and KPI growth, oversaw strategic partnerships, and explored new business opportunities.

Before their time at NBC Sports Group, Jon worked as a Media and Strategy Advisor at J Kropp Media & Strategy from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Turner Sports starting in 1997. Their roles at Turner Sports included Vice President of Business Operations - Golf from 2011 to 2013, Vice President of Strategy & Acquisitions from 2008 to 2011, and Senior Director of Strategy & Business Development from 1997 to 2008. At Turner Sports, Jon was responsible for overseeing golf businesses, developing multimedia programming strategies, negotiating rights and financial terms, and conducting financial analysis and negotiations with leagues and rights holders.

Jon Kropp attended Framingham North High School. Jon then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics from Bates College, graduating in 1993. Jon later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, completing the program between 1995 and 1997.
