Amit Acharya

Amit Acharya has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and analysis. Amit started their career at Infosys in 2007 as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they worked until 2009. During this time, they gained experience in various systems engineering tasks.

In 2009, Amit joined Infosys again, this time as a Technology Analyst. In this role, they led a team of 8 members and successfully executed a Master Data Management project using Oracle and SAP Data Services. Amit also played a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and architecting the project using the Agile Model.

Amit's career then progressed to the TMX Finance Family of Companies, where they became an Informatica Consultant in 2013. In this position, they played a key role in implementing an Enterprise Data Warehouse that stored data from different Point of Sales systems. Amit'sexpertise and knowledge in Informatica were instrumental in the success of this project.

Finally, Amit acquired the position of Lead Data Engineer at TMX Finance Family of Companies in May 2021. As a Lead Data Engineer, they are currently responsible for overseeing and managing data engineering activities.

Amit Acharya completed their B-Tech in CSIT at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2003 to 2007. Amit also obtained additional certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in August 2022 and December 2022 respectively.
