Berk Sumen

Berk Sumen is a seasoned professional in the field of investor relations and corporate communications, currently serving as the Head of TSX Company Services at TMX Group since February 2019. Prior to this role, Berk founded and consulted for Illume IR, addressing the needs of clients in the cannabis and tech industries. With extensive experience in the energy sector, Berk held management positions at Bonavista Energy Corporation and Terra Energy Corp, as well as roles at Enerflex Ltd., Penn West Energy Trust, and Petrofund Energy Trust. Berk began a career in investment research at ARC Financial Corp. Holds a BA Double degree in Economics and Geography from McGill University, a CPIR designation from Ivey Business School, and a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Mount Royal University.
