Cory Bast

Cory Bast is currently the Managing Director at TMX Group, a position held since 2025. Previously, Cory served as Chief Operating Officer at Langhaus Financial and as Advisor at Avondale Private Capital. Prior to these roles, Cory was the Global Head of FICC Distribution at BMO Capital Markets and has two decades of experience in Institutional Sales and Trading. Cory holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Acadia University and a Master of Science in International Securities, Investments, and Banking, graduating with distinction from the University of Reading.
