Gerald Wu has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Gerald has held various senior-level positions in multiple companies, including TMX Group, Cineplex, CIBC, Foresters Financial, HSBC, University of Toronto, and RBC Dominion Securities. Gerald Wu has a diverse education history. In 1990, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (MA) degree in Hotel and Catering Management from the University of Dundee. Gerald then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Human Resource Management from Edinburgh Napier University, which they completed in 1998.
In 2002, Gerald attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Warwick, specifically from the Warwick Business School. Following this, in 2012, they completed an Advanced Certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management from Cornell University.
Gerald returned to The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2012 and pursued a second M.Sc degree, this time in Health Economics, Policy and Management, which they successfully completed in 2014. In 2017, they participated in a short program in People Analytics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Continuing their education, Gerald enrolled in The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) once again in 2018 and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Behavioral Science in 2020. Additionally, in 2023, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching (CEC) from Royal Roads University.
In terms of certifications, Gerald became a Certified Member of GAABS in February 2021. Gerald also became a Member of the International Coaching Federation in October 2023. While they are affiliated with the Human Resources Professionals Association, it is unclear when they obtained the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) certification. Additionally, Gerald holds the Chartered Fellow designation from the CIPD, but the specific time of obtaining this certification is unknown.
