Jean Tessier, B. Ing, CISSP, serves as the Head of DevOps and Chapter Lead at TMX Group since October 2018, overseeing 24/7 production operations for the Montreal Exchange and its regulatory body. Responsibilities include managing a team of 25 during the DevOps transition, implementing GitOps and Kanban methodologies, and evolving to DevSecOps. Jean maintains multiple software development lifecycle processes while ensuring governance over change and release processes. Prior to TMX Group, Jean held various roles at Montréal Exchange from 2009 to 2018, including Principal Programmer Analyst and Programmer Analyst, contributing to trading engine development, production support, and team leadership. Jean's early experience includes an internship at Savoir-faire Linux and two internships at Montréal Exchange. Jean holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
