Kate D.

Kate D. has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1998 as a Special Collections Worker at the University of Iowa Main Library. Kate then worked as a Mentor/Intern at Johnson County - Senior Center Television, where they assisted in producing television programs and taught seniors how to use equipment for filming and editing. Kate later worked as a Shift Manager & Wait Staff at Atlas World Grill, where they supervised staff and ensured customer satisfaction.

In 2002, Kate joined City Channel, Iowa City IA as a Programmer, organizing program placement and assisting with shoots and live shows. Kate then worked at McDonald's Corporation as a Media Specialist, managing digital and physical assets to protect the corporate brand and delivering media assets globally.

Starting in 2011, Kate worked at RE/MAX as an E-Learning Specialist / Multimedia Coordinator, managing the learning management system and handling media distribution through content and distribution management systems. Kate then moved on to Craftsy as a Digital Media Manager. After Craftsy was rebranded to Bluprint in 2018, Kate led the rollout of new content distribution channels and managed lifecycle policies for digital assets.

Most recently, Kate joined TN Marketing as the Director of Media Platforms and Distribution in September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Media Asset Manager at TN Marketing from September 2020 to September 2021. Throughout their career, Kate has demonstrated expertise in managing digital assets, implementing efficient processes, and overseeing media distribution.

Kate D. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies & Communication at the University of Iowa from 1998 to 2002. Kate then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Dominican University from 2006 to 2009. In addition, they took business courses at Hamburger University - McDonald's Corporation from 2003 to 2009.
