Bas Veldman

Bas Veldman is a Senior Project Manager at TNO since November 2021, overseeing a diverse range of R&D projects, serving as a core member of the Project Managers Guild, and training new employees. Key responsibilities include managing TNO's contributions to significant EU projects such as TULIPS and MODI, as well as overseeing high TRL maturation of new NDT technology in the Defence, Security, and Safety sector. Previously, Bas Veldman held roles including Program Manager at Fokker Technologies, where duties encompassed guiding project managers and managing program reviews, and Project Manager at Atkins, managing a portfolio of projects across various markets. Bas Veldman’s early career includes positions as a Project Manager at ARCAA and a Research Engineer at CRC-ACS. Bas Veldman earned a PhD and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
