Ben Govers has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ben is currently working at TNO as the Head of Department (a.i.) since April 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Programmamanager at TNO from September 2019 to April 2023, and as the Deputy Head Of Department from April 2020 to April 2022.

Earlier in their career, Ben worked at ANBO as Central Staff from December 2007 to January 2009, and at Udense Muziekhandel as a Sales Assistant from September 1997 to October 2007.

Ben also served as a Board member / chairman at DUNSA / SIB-Utrecht from September 2006 to August 2007, and gained internship experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherlands from January 2005 to May 2005.

Ben Govers has a diverse education history. Ben completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Relations from Utrecht University between 2000 and 2007. In 2018 and 2019, they pursued a degree in Producer/audiotechnicus with a focus on moderne stijlen at Sound Education Nederland. Prior to that, between 1993 and 1999, Ben attended Gymnasium Bernrode, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.

In addition to their formal education, Ben Govers obtained a certification as a Prince2 Practitioner from APMG-International in July 2013.
