Colleen Chen

Colleen Chen is a Scientist Innovator at TNO, specializing in applied research and development for military XR since November 2022. Chen has a diverse background in mobile AR development from Wintor and extensive research experience in cognitive neuroscience, including a doctoral researcher position at UCI. Previous roles include research associate at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory, and research fellow at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies, focusing on immersive virtual interaction tools. Chen has also contributed to various research projects and software engineering roles, providing innovative solutions to DoD clients and employing machine learning techniques for biomedical research. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from UC Irvine and an MS in Computational Science from San Diego State University.
