Kristel Kamstra (R.J.M.)

Kristel (R.J.M.) Kamstra is a Scientist Innovator at TNO in the Unit Healthy Living, focusing on Microbiology & Systems Biology since August 2020. Prior experience includes an internship at TNO working on a research project related to lifestyle app compliance among type 2 diabetes patients, along with internships at Utrecht University analyzing the impact of ultrafine particles on respiratory health, UMC Utrecht researching infection prevention techniques, and AMC conducting mutation screenings related to genetic disorders. Kristel has a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Toxicology and Environmental Health from Utrecht University, a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, and completed a minor in Psychology. Early education includes high school graduation focused on Nature and Health.
