Douwe van Willigen

Scientist Ultrasound And Electronics

Douwe van Willigen is currently a Scientist in Ultrasound and Electronics at TNO, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Douwe worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate at Technische Universiteit Delft from August 2017 to August 2022, focusing on clamp-on ultrasonic flow measurement and contributing to ASIC design, signal processing algorithms, and acoustics. Between October 2011 and July 2017, Douwe served as an Electronics Engineer at Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering, where responsibilities included designing PCBs and developing flight electronics for the Stratos II+ rocket. Additionally, Douwe was a Research and Development Engineer at Combat Zone Live from March 2014 to April 2017, involved in developing battery-powered game attributes for outdoor laser gaming. Douwe holds a Master of Science in Microelectronics and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, alongside completing VWO in Natuur en Techniek at Stichtse Vrije School Zeist.
