Fabian Polak

Fabian Polak is a Researcher at TNO, having joined the company in February 2017, specializing in mechanical activities within the Road Construction Team and the "Bouwinnovatie Lab." Expertise includes the use of Instron and MTS test equipment, focusing on experimental and ISO 17025 certified testing for building materials. Previously, as a Junior Researcher, Polak contributed to innovative projects such as SolaRoad. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant R&D Engineer at Allseas, where work involved design and strength calculations for notable projects, and internships at CB&I and Shell Global Solutions, focusing on process improvement and optimization calculations. Polak holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from De Haagse Hogeschool and a minor in Offshore & Constructions from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
