Jaap de Ruiter

Jaap de Ruiter is a senior project manager specializing in resilience and security at TNO since 1985, with extensive experience in explosives detection and aviation security, encompassing 25 years in research, testing, evaluation, and policy support. In addition to leading various projects and programs related to detection and security, Jaap de Ruiter served as a Seconded National Expert at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre from August 2014 to July 2016, aiding in European Aviation Security efforts. Jaap de Ruiter's academic background includes a degree in Physics from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and earlier education at Gymnasium.
