Janneke van de Loo

Janneke van de Loo currently serves as a Data Scientist and NLP Specialist in Health & Work at TNO since September 2023. Previously, Janneke held the position of Natural Language Processing Scientist at Elsevier from March 2018 to August 2023, focusing on information extraction and analytics to enhance scientific content using machine learning. Janneke also worked as a Natural Language Processing Specialist as a freelancer and fulfilled roles in project management and academia, including a research position at CLiPS Research Center, University of Antwerp, where a PhD thesis was completed on machine learning approaches in natural language processing. Janneke holds a PhD in Computational Linguistics from the University of Antwerp and has degrees in Language and Speech Technology as well as Speech and Language Therapy from Radboud University and HAN University of Applied Sciences, respectively.
