José León González Acosta

Scientist Innovator at TNO

José León González Acosta is a Scientist Innovator at TNO since September 2023, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft from October 2015, where research focused on developing FEM code for simulating hydro-mechanical behavior related to dyke failure risks in the Groeningen area. José has also worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at GustoMSC, providing analysis on jack-up installation and dynamic behavior, and as a technical support specialist for geotechnical numerical modeling at Bowerbird Ingenieria. Research experience includes groundwater flow studies and structural rehabilitation projects at Instituto de Ingeniería de la UNAM. José holds a PhD from Delft University of Technology and a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, complemented by a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California.
