Kay Koster is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in research and professional roles. Currently serving as a geoscientist and researcher PhD candidate at TNO since February 2013, Koster also contributes as secretary and board member for the KNGMG Royal Geological and Mining Society of the Netherlands since February 2019, and holds the position of affiliated member with the UNESCO Land Subsidence International Initiative since September 2022. Previous roles include researcher PhD candidate at Universiteit Utrecht, trainee positions at Fugro and GEO-LOGICAL Earth Scientific Research & Consultancy, and junior researcher at Earth Integrated Archaeology. Koster earned a Master of Science degree in Earth Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where studies were completed from 2005 to 2012.
