Ryan Ainsworth

Ryan Ainsworth is an experienced geoscientist currently working at Ikon Science, focusing on reservoir services since March 2023. Prior to this role, Ryan held multiple positions at BHP from July 2013 to July 2021, including Specialist Geophysicist II in Trinidad Exploration and Appraisal, where Ryan collaborated on geophysical analyses for well planning and VRV analysis. Ryan also contributed geophysical and quantitative interpretation (QI) support for Deepwater and unconventional assets. Earlier experience includes graduate research at Baylor University, focusing on broadband seismic arrays, and an internship at Samson Resources, which involved reservoir characterization in the Bakken formation. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Geophysics and Geology from Baylor University, a Bachelor of Science in Geophysical Engineering from Montana Technological University, and a Master of Science in Data Science from Eastern University.
