Marc Langelaar

Marc Langelaar is an experienced professional in the field of wind energy and project management, currently serving as Research Manager for Wind Energy at TNO since April 2018, overseeing financials, resource planning, and process improvement with a team of over 50 direct reports. Langelaar also contributes as a Board Member at the Knowledge Centre WMC. Previously, Langelaar held significant roles at ECN from 2013 to 2018, including Unit Director and Senior Manager for Wind Energy, focusing on overall P&L management and operational oversight for teams of up to 46 individuals. Langelaar's earlier career includes positions as Director of Product Management & Quality at Trespa International BV and various roles at Philips Lighting, where management of Black Belt programs and improvement of production processes were key responsibilities. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mathematics and Science and a Master’s degree in Experimental Physics from the University of Groningen.
