Peter Mulder

Peter Mulder is an Associate Professor at Utrecht University since May 2023 and a Senior Scientist at TNO Energy Transition Studies since February 2020. Previously, Peter held positions as a Research Fellow at the Tinbergen Institute and an Assistant Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where teaching covered microeconomics, urban economics, and economic ethics, alongside research in energy and urban economics with a focus on developing countries. Additional teaching experience includes a Lecturer role at Amsterdam University College and a Visiting Assistant Professor position at Purdue University. Earlier in Peter's career, roles included Economist for the Government of Mozambique, where responsibilities involved capacity building and economic research, as well as research fellowships at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and IIASA. Peter earned a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Economics from VU University Amsterdam.
