Renee Kooger

Renee Kooger is a Medior researcher and consultant at TNO Energy Transition Studies (ETS), specializing in the social and human aspects of the energy transition in the built environment, alongside policy advice on evaluation and monitoring. Prior experience includes roles as a Junior researcher at ECN, focusing on sustainable housing transitions, and an Allround Junior scientist at ECN, where engagement in diverse sustainable energy projects occurred. Renee founded GroenGezind, a start-up aimed at advising sustainable businesses, and served as a debate trainer for various organizations. Additional roles include Program manager for Unilever's BrightFuture in Action initiative and intern experiences that span sustainable business consulting and environmental journalism. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Environmental Resource Management from VU Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Utrecht University, among other qualifications in journalism and economics.
