Robin Vermeulen

Robin Vermeulen is a Senior Researcher and Advisor for Sustainable Transport at TNO, having worked in this role since 2006. With a strong focus on sustainable mobility research, Robin possesses extensive expertise in road transport technology, emissions reduction strategies, and emission legislation, along with project management capabilities. Responsibilities include leading research initiatives and advising national and international authorities as well as private organizations on transport emissions and energy consumption. Prior to this, Robin served as a Project Manager and Technical Advisor for the Netherlands' in-service testing program on heavy-duty vehicle emissions and worked as a Test Engineer for vehicle emissions at TNO from 1999 to 2005 after a role as a Freelance Researcher at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Autotechniek from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
