Silke de Vries currently serves as a researcher in Defence, Safety & Security at TNO, where expertise includes intelligence, criminal and humanitarian law, and strategic foresight. Since May 2019, Silke has also held various positions at the Ministry of Defence, including reservist and young professional roles. Previous experience includes training moot court participants at Leiden Law School and serving as a legal advisor at De Leidse Rechtswinkel. Silke's education encompasses an LL.M. in Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law (Cum Laude) and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Leiden University, complemented by studies in Political Science: International Relations and Organizations, and a VWO diploma in Nature & Health.
