Stephan de Hoop

Stephan de Hoop is a Scientist Innovator at TNO since October 2024, previously serving as a Consultant in scientific programming at Alten Nederland from October 2022 to September 2024, where involvement included the PetroSigns project focused on integrating static and dynamic modeling. Prior to Alten, Stephan was a Postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft from December 2017 to August 2022, extending and testing the Operator-Based Linearization implementation in GEOSX, after completing a Doctorate in Applied Geology at TU Delft. The academic journey includes earning an MSc in Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Saxion University. Earlier experience encompasses roles as a Junior Project Assistant at Antea Group Nederland and conducting graduation research at Rijkswaterstaat.
