Susanne van Berkum

Susanne van Berkum is a seasoned professional in the field of circular electronics and recycling, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at TNO since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Projectleider at ARN from November 2017 to December 2021, where focus was placed on enhancing the recycling chain for tires, glass, and batteries within the automotive recycling sector. Prior to ARN, Susanne worked as a Research Chemist at Ioniqa Technologies from August 2014 to October 2017, concentrating on optimizing chemical recycling processes for PET and overseeing pilot plant development. Susanne's academic background includes a PhD in Physical and Colloid Chemistry from Utrecht University, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Nanomaterials from the same institution.
