Wiebe van Driel

Wiebe van Driel is an accomplished geophysicist currently serving as Deputy Research Manager and Team Lead for Energy and Storage at TNO, where involvement in the Management Team of the Advisory Group for Economic Affairs is noted. With extensive experience in project management and advisory roles, Wiebe has led significant projects including CCS license applications and seismic risk analysis in Groningen. Previous positions include geophysical consultant at EBN, geoscientist at Dana Petroleum, and senior geoscientist at Xodus Group, where expertise in seismic interpretation and field appraisal studies was demonstrated. Additionally, Wiebe held leadership roles within the Petroleum Geological Circle, contributing to the geoscience community. Academic achievements include an MSc in Geophysics from Utrecht University.
