Riazullah Azmat has been working in the telecommunications industry since 1995. Riazullah began their career at Ericsson in 1995 as an Instaphone & Paktel, providing support to Telecom New Zealand and Ericsson customers in the Asia Pacific. Theirresponsibilities included RF planning and optimization, as well as radio network performance monitoring and benchmarking. In 1997, they moved to a role as RF Design & Optimization at Spark New Zealand. In this role, their primary responsibilities were optimization of CDMA (IS95 and CDMA 1X) networks, as well as producing network performance reports for quality improvement and network analyses. In 2001, they returned to Ericsson as Director Smart Optimization Center and Technology Consulting / Director RAN Delivery (RNO/RND). In this role, they were responsible for ensuring that the NPO organization was updated with all tools and best practices, as well as being technically involved in monitoring and highlighting areas of improvement using statistics and network KPI trends. Riazullah was also responsible for the deployment of UMTS (2nd and 3rd Carrier) / LTE, initial tuning (pre and post launch), contract negotiating, resource dimensioning, and RAN operational deliverables, quality OTP, and cost. In 2011, they moved to a role as MS Program Management at Ericsson, where they were involved in delivery and pre sales of technical and operational matters within the Managed Service organization. In 2013, they became CTO / Head of Services Sales and Delivery at TNSS Global.
Riazullah Azmat attended Saint Louis University (PH) from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a degree in Electronics &Telecommunication Engineering (ECE), majoring in Electronics &Telecommunication Engineering.
