Richard Bates

Richard Bates is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management. Currently serving as the Corporate HSE Technical Manager and Northern Region HSE Manager at TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. since November 2017, Richard oversees critical safety initiatives. Previously, Richard held the position of EHS Director at Permian Holdings, Inc. from July 2009 to October 2017, managing all aspects of the environmental, health, and safety program including worker’s compensation. Earlier in their career, Richard served as Environmental Manager at both Permian Holdings, Inc. and PermianLide (Lide Industries). Richard holds a Master of Science in Forestry with a focus on Forest Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry with a concentration in Forest Business Management, both from Stephen F. Austin State University.
