Jomar McDonald has extensive experience in the field of technology and information management. Jomar has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing their ability to lead and implement technology solutions. Jomar started their career at Elgia, Inc. as a Technical Support Specialist, providing assistance to Fortune 500 clients. Jomar then joined the AIDS Foundation of Chicago as an IT Coordinator, where they grew into the role of network administrator. At the Frances Xavier Warde School, Jomar served as the Director of Information Technology, building a team and spearheading technology initiatives in the K-12 education space. Jomar later joined Adler University as the Associate Vice President of Technology, developing a comprehensive technology strategy and leading COVID-19 technology response efforts. Their most recent role is with TNTP, where they serve as the Vice President of Technology, responsible for leading a creative team and establishing technology strategies to ensure outstanding education for all students.

Jomar McDonald's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) in Information Systems at DePaul University from 2008 to 2010.
