Melissa Sprockel

Melissa Sprockel serves as the Consulting Director at TNTP, leading strategic academic initiatives and professional development for educators since January 2022. Previously, Melissa held various roles at Ewing Marion Kauffman School from August 2013 to January 2022, including Talent Developer, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Teacher, focusing on recruitment, staff development, strategic planning, and instructional practices. With experience also as a 5th Grade Teacher at Phillis Wheatley Elementary School and a Corps Member with Teach For America, Melissa brings a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive education. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College, along with specialized training from the National Principals Fellowship Academy.
