Roy Abdun Nur

Roy Abdun-Nur has a diverse work experience, starting from 2011. Roy began their career as a Summer Staff at Tilikum Retreat Center in 2011 and then worked as Summer Staff at Twin Rocks Friends Camp in 2012. In 2013, Roy joined Virginia Commonwealth University as a Graduate Student, where they stayed until 2015. During this time, they also worked as an Interior Design Intern at Guernsey Tingle Architects in 2014. In 2014, Roy also worked as an Interior Design Intern at SMBW, PLLC until April 2015. After that, they joined KSA Interiors as a Junior Interior Designer until August 2017. Subsequently, Roy worked as an Interior Designer at LRS Architects, Inc. from August 2017 to March 2018. Roy then joined Mahlum as an Interior Designer from March 2018 to September 2020. Currently, Roy is employed at Source since May 2021, holding the positions of Senior Data Processor and Design Project Manager.

Roy Abdun-Nur earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from George Fox University, where they attended from 2009 to 2013. Before starting their higher education, Abdun-Nur attended St. Mary's School from 2005 to 2009, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
