Ben Popp

Ben Popp is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Toast, Inc. since October 2017, Ben has been instrumental in leading the Boston-based Restaurant Operations group, focusing on the development of key Toast POS products. Prior to Toast, Ben was the Director of Engineering at Sqrrl, where leadership of the software development team contributed to a high-scale cybersecurity solution, which was acquired by Amazon shortly after Ben's departure. Further experience includes roles as Senior Software Development Manager at Oracle, Engineering Manager and Software Engineer at Endeca, as well as Software Engineer positions at DoubleClick and Charles River Analytics. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard University.
