David Goldberg is an experienced technology executive and entrepreneur with two decades of expertise in leading engineering and product teams, as well as in architecting and building complex systems. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Toast since 2025, they co-founded ghostwrite from 2023 to 2025 and held the position of Chief Technology and Product Officer at Fanatics from 2021 to 2023. Previous roles include an Engineering Leader at Facebook in 2020-2021 and Co-founder and CTO of Contently from 2010 to 2019. David holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a BA in Computer Science and Classics from Duke University, along with a Business and Public Policy certificate from The Wharton School.
